Message rules define, if and when messages are generated.

In this article, we'll be talking about the general creation of new message rules.

Afterwards, you have to define evaluation rules for your messages with QUDE. Take a look at our manual for helpful tutorials about this topic!

Creating new message rules

  1. Accessing the message board
    • Choose the facility in which you want messages to be generated. Select "Messages" in the upper facility menu. This is an overview of all already generated messages of this particular facility.
    • Click on the gear wheel-button to move to the overview of your message rules in this facility.
  2. Adding a new message rule
    • Select the plus-button in the lower right corner to add a new message rule.
    • A window will pop up where you have to write down all important information for your potential messages. Every specification can later be changed, except for the key.
