Eine Facility repräsentiert ein reales Objekt, wie eine technische Anlage oder einen Standort, und fast alle dafür relevanten Informationen und Daten zusammen. Folgende Informationen werden an Facilities abgebildet:
Jede Facility entspricht einem bestimmten Facility-Typ, welcher unter anderem Vorlagen für Datenpunkte, Eigenschaften oder das Dashboard liefert. Diese Vorlagen ermöglichen eine effiziente Auswertung von Daten, da so schon von Anfang an unter anderem passende Eigenschaften und ein gut strukturiertes Dashboard an der Facility vorliegen, die der Facility entsprechen. Verfügbare Facility-Typen werden in Kategorien gruppiert. Facilities sind in einer Hierarchie angeordnet, in welcher untergeordnete Kind-Facilities Ihre Daten an ihre übergeordneten Eltern-Facilities weitergeben. |
